Dr. Christopher Burns
Dr. Christopher Burns joined us in July of 2024 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our practice.
A Dayton area native, he completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Rochester, where he also obtained a Master of Science. Dr. Burns has extensive experience in all aspects of orthodontics, including cleft lip and palate, orthognathic surgery, and multidisciplinary cases.
Dr. Burns has also undergone advanced training through the TWEED Study Course, Invisalign Intensive Course, and Invisalign CAARE course. In addition to his professional achievements, Dr. Burns served as a clinical teaching assistant and research assistant, contributing valuable insights to orthodontics through original research.
Outside of orthodontics Dr. Burns enjoys staying active through skiing, hiking, and traveling the world. He is also an artist and musician and enjoys playing guitar and painting. Fun fact: In high school, Dr. Burns was an Ohio state wrestling champion and traveled all over the US competing with his younger brother.
Dr. Mary Remley
Dr. Mary Linda Remley received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry, where she graduated magna cum laude. She then completed an orthodontic residency at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri, where she completed her Master of Science in dentistry and earned a certificate in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. Additionally, she is certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, a credential held by only about 50% of orthodontists nationwide, demonstrating her adherence to the highest standards in her field.
Prior to that, Dr. Remley graduated with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry with a minor in biology from Mississippi State University and was a member of Chi Omega sorority. She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics, American Board of Orthodontics, and American Dental Association. She has completed the Invisalign® Aligner Intensive Fellowship and the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business Mastering the Business of Orthodontics course.
Dr. Remley grew up in Mississippi in a medical family. Her father is a physician, and she and her siblings have followed in his footsteps, entering the healthcare field. In her free time, Dr. Remley enjoys traveling, taking exercise classes, cooking, attending sporting events, and spending time with her friends and family.
