Dr. Mohamed Bazina

Dr. Mohammed Bazina brings a passion for innovation, education, and advancing the field of orthodontics to his work with patients. His career has combined clinical care, research, and teaching, including his role as an Associate Professor and Program Director of the Orthodontic Residency Program at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Benghazi before completing his orthodontic residency and craniofacial fellowship at Case Western Reserve University.

A board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Bazina is committed to combining advanced technology, evidence-based care, and individualized treatment to achieve excellent results for his patients. His clinical and research interests include digital orthodontics, clear aligner therapy, temporary anchorage devices, three-dimensional imaging, and orthognathic surgery. His research on three-dimensional voxel-based superimposition received national recognition and was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

Dr. Bazina is a member of the Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists and serves as a reviewer for leading orthodontic journals. He remains active in orthodontic education and research as a mentor, researcher, and national speaker.

Outside of orthodontics, Dr. Bazina enjoys traveling, playing soccer, and horseback riding.
